Sydney and Weston’s downtown San Antonio engagement photos were such fun to create. When I sat down with them to initially plan out what we were going to do for their engagement session, they had two ideas. The first was to take photos of them eating Whataburger. The second was to find a downtown garage and take photos up there. So I said, “why do one of those ideas when we can do both”!
We started the session off at their home. When I got there, they had already picked up Whataburger and were ready to chow down. Normally, when I’m at weddings, I don’t photograph people eating. Nobody wants to look back at wedding photos of their guests chowing down. But this session was the exception but also the complete opposite. We had such fun trying to see how many ways we could make eating fast food look romantic, sexy, and silly all at the same time.
After that, we headed out downtown only to find that there was bumper-to-bumper traffic due to a festival going on. So, we met up the next day when traffic was back to normal and had fun on the garage rooftop.
