Last year, I didn’t imagine starting a podcast w Last year, I didn’t imagine starting a podcast would be a passion of mine, but here I am. I love it because I’m able to connect with people like me. And more importantly, I’m able to help share the stories of other neurodivergent people. #adhd #actuallyautistic #neurodivergentvoices

🌿 2025 has felt like a transitional year. Not b 🌿 2025 has felt like a transitional year. Not bad. Just different. A year of growing into myself and finally feeling older in a good way.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 I spent more time with family and friends than ever. My sisters and I even started siblings hangouts for the first time. I worked alongside friends. Created with friends. Photographed friends. It felt good.

📷 This was also the first year I had the least wedding photography clients, and next year will be my last year photographing weddings. It’s time for change and for me to step out of the box of “just a photographer.”

🎙 I started working at a local podcast studio and discovered I really like this field. It helped me level up my video and editing skills, and I accidentally started a video podcast of my own. Something about this work feels bigger than me.

🧠 This year I was diagnosed Autistic, and embracing my AuDHD has helped me more than I can say. Life, relationships, overwhelm… I finally have language and tools.

🎥 I didn’t make as much YouTube content, but what I did create feels like my best work yet. I’m excited for what’s coming next.

🎸 I didn’t play much guitar or work on my own music this year, which I want to change. But somehow my old band found new listeners through the nu metal resurgence, so that was wild.

🎵 One of my favorite moments this year was seeing Jerry Cantrell live. I wish I could have gone to more shows, but ticket prices feel out of reach for so many people. It’s sad that live music isn’t as accessible as it should be.

📸 I was also grateful to see and photograph one of my most played bands, Mini Trees. That one meant a lot.

✨ This year didn’t have the most date nights, but one of them led to meeting some really kind magicians at a magic show. Now they’re friends, which makes me smile.

📺 It was also the year my wife and I watched the most critter cams and live world cams on YouTube. It became a calm little comfort for us before bed.

🧑‍🦱 And hair goals: I’m still not done growing it out. Still going. Still committed.

💫 Next year, I want to focus less on being seen only as a photographer and more on helping neurodivergent people feel seen. Change finally feels good.
Nobody’s walking out on this fun, old-fashioned Nobody’s walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We’re all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We’re gonna press on, and we’re gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he’s gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse.
