My wife and I moved to Waco, TX about 2 and a half years ago. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling back and forth between Waco, Austin, and San Antonio since then. I wanted to stay a San Antonio based photographer since we’re planning on moving back after my wife finishes her PhD. Oddly enough, a few months before we move back to San Antonio, I had the honor of photographing Olivia and Chris’ intimate Texas elopement in the Waco area.
It had been raining really badly all morning. The electricity went out at both my apartment and their house. The rain stopped and the weather cleared up just a few hours before their ceremony. It turned out to be a beautiful day.
They eloped on their property. So, after they tied the knot, we walked around every part of it to photograph the love they have built together.
“I saw Anthony’s work long before I met my husband, and knew I wanted him to be my one day wedding photographer. His work speaks for itself but it isn’t cheesy or cookie cutter like most wedding photographer’s work. My husband and I eloped on our property near Waco, and hiring Anthony was the best decision. He never made us feel as if our day wasn’t just as important as a wedding with 200 guests. He is down to earth, and somehow made me and my husband look comfortable in front of a camera (neither of us like to take photos). He always kept up good communication with us, and his turn around time was fast! I would love to hire him again for other family sessions!”
