I remember when Sandra started following me on Instagram. Before they had even inquired, she had mentioned in a comment that Francis proposed to her in Iceland. Once we met, they told me their whole story from when they met to when he proposed. It was a funny yet very sweet and beautiful story. Definitely one to remember.
I was 45 minutes late. Yes, that’s what I’m starting out this post with. I was 45 minutes late.
I pay attention a lot to all the similarities between all my couples. One of those similarities is enduring long distance relationships. A lot of my couples are either currently going through long distance relationships or have gone through them. And I find that absolutely interesting.
They got married at Bethany’s parents’ home. I was in awe of their place. Their home was literally surrounded by tons of trees. It was a gorgeous and peaceful place to get married at. Their decor was hand made, the wedding party consisted of siblings and a best friend, and only close family and friends attended. It was a very special and intimate wedding filled with lots of love.
I’m excited to share Laura and Mateo’s Ring Mountain Event Center wedding. I was just in awe of the location. The beauty of Texas really shines there. The view was incredible. And combined with their wedding’s colors, attire, handmade decorations, and overall cool casual vibe of everyone in their wedding party, every part of their wedding went together so well.
Stoked to share Laura & Mateo’s Austin engagement photography session! Their love story is incredible. They’ve been together for over 6 years, but their story begins before that at Boerne Middle School North. Mateo first had a crush on Laura when they were in 9th grade.
With a cool breeze, temperatures in the sixties, and a high blanket of clouds giving a bright overcast, this Welfare Cafe and Goat Barn wedding in January could not have been any more perfect. The venue, Welfare Cafe, with its perfect combination of pastures of farm animals and a restored barn, lead it to have a rustic feel with vintage undertones.
I have been anxiously waiting to be able to share Kendra’s rustic bridal session. I’ll never forget how cold it was that day. It was somewhere around 30 degrees, but it felt colder than that.
