We originally had plans to go to a river, but on the day of the session, we realized it was Saturday and that it would be packed. We left their place and decided to drive around to some nearby spots that Michael thought about.
Truth is, I don’t plan much out with my sessions. Pretty much the only thing I plan is the day and time. I don’t even plan poses or shots. And if the location doesn’t go as planned, that doesn’t bother me. We’ll figure something else out. Cause at the end of the day, what actually matters is the love and connection between the two people I’m photographing. Nothing else.
However, with that said, I’m really happy with the spots we wound up going to. Michael was spot on with choosing them. It doesn’t even look like we were in San Antonio, which is crazy.
