Ainsley’s Boudoir Session

Boudoir

To say that 2020 has been a crazy year for all of us is an understatement. I’m writing this as we’re just weeks away from 2021 and felt like sharing what I’ve been reflecting on for the past few months. I promise it’s related to this post.

March – October 2020 was a roller coaster for me emotionally. It was so hard to navigate my emotions, mental health, and what to do about my business. There was a point where I thought I would need to give up on it. Almost all of my 2020 weddings were postponed, not canceled, thankfully. I did photograph a few elopements and micro-weddings after July. I truly enjoy working for myself and absolutely love photographing people. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Around October, I finally came to accept that life is going to be like this even in 2021 and with a vaccine on the way. I was tired of feeling upset about what I couldn’t control in life and made the decision to focus on the future. I wanted to push forward and keep growing my craft because photography keeps me in such a positive mindset.

The first thing I did was write and design a 100+ page printed wedding guide for my wedding couples. I wanted to provide my current and future couples a ton of value to help with their wedding day and how I work.

I’m Officially Offering Boudoir

The second thing I did was commit to officially adding in and offering boudoir sessions. I had been dabbling in it for a few years. And oddly enough, I began receiving more and more inquiries for it this year in 2020. I decided it was time to officially make it official. The interest people have had about me officially offering boudoir has been received well. It’s so humbling to have people trust me to make their vision come to life.

I’m not giving up weddings by any means, but with more free time these days, this felt like the perfect opportunity to do what I set out to do – grow my craft.

Celebrating with Yearly Sales

I’m excited to share this boudoir session with Ainsley. She did the session as a gift to her partner and also herself. Her session along with everything I’ve just shared in this post inspired me to offer a limited-time sale on boudoir sessions once a year for Valentine’s Day!

I’ll be offering this Valentine’s Day sale starting every Fall season until all the slots fill up. Be the first to know about the sale by joining my newsletter.

Here’s What Ainsley Said About Her Experience:

Working with Anthony was an amazing experience. I did a Boudoir style shoot and the pictures I received were absolutely unreal and I am so happy with how they turned out! Anthony’s Boudoir guide made the process leading up to the pictures super smooth, and he was quick to answer and questions/concerns I had! (If you’re thinking about doing a boudoir shoot for yourself or your partner, just do it! Trust me it’s so worth it.”

– Ainsley
